Established in 2010 and becoming a Pony Club approved centre in 2011 followed by BHS approval in 2016, Hill Farm Riding School offers lessons for all abilities and requirements from 'have a go' lesson to those wanting to complete exams or improve their riding skills. We are also happy to teach on your own horse to improve confidence, prepare for competition, exams, or general improvement and learning.
I have over 25 yrs teaching experience and have ridden and been involved with horses for over 30 years. After completing a 2 year degree at the College of West Anglia and achieving a BTEC 1ST DIP, National certificate in the management of horses, City and guilds, and my British Horse Society Assistant Instructors certificate as well as achieving my level 5 diploma in coaching horse riders for competition in 2019. I have worked with top-level dressage horses and competed for my own up to Advanced Medium. I have also been involved with showing, showjumping, and eventing. I have breed & pre-trained my own winning racehorses and try to stay involved with the racing industry. As well as teaching in many riding schools I have trained and taught people on their own horses including a BYRDS finalist and at a number of pony clubs including the Suffolk Hunt Branch and the Fitzwilliam Hunt Branch.
